2014年International soft matter workshop于8月16-17日在中国科学院物理研究所举行。实验室徐宁教授，博士后郑文及博士生王利近、王锡朋、刘浩、童华、祖梦婕、柳军、聂运欢和王宇川悉数参加，并且徐宁教授做了题为“Study of jamming under applied shear stress by minimizing a thermodynamic-like potential”的学术报告。 

　  王锡朋、童华、祖梦婕、柳军和聂运欢做了海报展示，其中王锡朋的墙报题目为“Connection of Ioffe-Regel limits to jamming and glass transitions”，童华的墙报题目为“Order parameter for structural heterogeneity in disordered solids“，祖梦婕的墙报题目为“Critical-like behaviour of two-dimensional core-softened system”，柳军的墙报题目为“Modified method to get vibration mode from covariance matrix at low temperature“，聂运欢的墙报题目为“Reentrant dynamical behavior in bidisperse soft-formers at high compressions”。
